I am a licensed therapist, organizer, intersectional feminist, and unwavering advocate for social justice. With over a decade of experience supporting women across diverse settings and issue areas, my work has always centered on healing, dignity, and liberation.

Before becoming a social worker, I worked on a national nonprofit initiative focused on ending the incarceration of girls. In that role, I collaborated with government stakeholders in New York City, Maine, Virginia, and California to reform juvenile justice systems and center the voices of impacted young people. This work deepened my understanding of how gender shapes the criminalization of young people and revealed the urgent need for gender-affirming, culturally responsive services rooted in care rather than punishment.

Building on that experience, I transitioned into city government, where I served as a Director overseeing programs for women and children. I managed large-scale initiatives with budgets exceeding $10 million, working to expand access to services grounded in care, stability, and dignity. My background bridges both policy and direct service: as a former Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), I’ve also walked alongside women in recovery, supporting them as they reclaim their lives and rebuild with purpose.

Today, I work on a specialized team at a public defender agency that advocates for people held on bail. I’m also a law student at CUNY School of Law, continuing my commitment to justice through both legal education and front-line work. Every day, I have the profound honor of working with women at Rikers Island who are surviving immense trauma and I fight relentlessly for their release. This is the most meaningful work of my life, and I will never stop until we #FreeThemAll.
